The range

Four families, one control system

Everything below runs on the same 24 V DC backbone and lands in the same app. Most properties end up with two or three of them sharing a single controller.

Why RGBW

The fourth die is the whole argument

RGB lighting makes white by mixing red, green and blue. It never quite lands, and on a house it reads as a novelty. RGBW adds a dedicated warm-white die, which is why an IllumiDEL roofline can be architectural lighting eleven months of the year and holiday colour for the twelfth.

There is a simple way to check what you are being quoted. A true RGBW lamp has a yellow-marked die visible inside it, and its app shows a four-spectrum slider — red, green, blue and white. If the quote in your other hand has neither, it cannot hold a constant warm white, whatever the brochure says.

  • True RGBW, not RGBA dedicated fourth warm-white die, rather than warm white faked by mixing red, green and blue. It is the difference between architectural lighting and a party bulb.
  • How to check it is realThere is a yellow-marked die visible inside the lamp, and the app shows a four-spectrum slider. If a quote you are comparing has neither, it is RGB.
  • Threaded waterproof connectorsCompression-fit and UV-protected, so a lamp can be unthreaded and swapped without cutting into the run.
  • Surge protection in every lampBuilt in at the lamp, not just at the controller — which matters on a roofline in an Ontario thunderstorm.

What is inside every lamp

Surge protection

Built into each lamp rather than only at the controller — the relevant detail when the surge arrives along a roofline.

4-channel driver

A four-channel output driver handles the four colour signals independently, which is what keeps colour accurate rather than approximate.

Signal reshaping

Every lamp cleans and re-drives the data signal on its way past, so the last pixel on a long run shows the same colour as the first.

Constant power output

An internal oscillator holds current steady, so brightness does not sag across a run or drift as the run warms up.

Threaded connectors

Compression-fit, watertight and UV-protected. A failed lamp unthreads and swaps without cutting into the run.

−40 °C rated

The whole range is specified to −40 °C. Ontario gets close enough often enough that this is not a marketing number.

Assembled in Boucherville

IllumiDEL builds in Québec, roughly two hours from Ottawa. That is worth something practical rather than sentimental: parts are available, warranty claims are handled in this country, and a replacement Control Box is a drive rather than a container ship.

IllumiDEL has been doing architectural and festive lighting for 15+ years, and Bright Neighbour installs their range across Ontario as an authorised dealer. We do the site design, the install, the commissioning and the warranty service — you deal with us, not with a manufacturer's support queue.

  • Designed and assembled in CanadaBoucherville, Québec — components integrated and assembled locally.
  • cULus certifiedUL STD 8750 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.13 on the Control Box; cULus across the lamp range; ETL on the flood series.
  • 12 years on pixels and controllerPlus 3 years on the linear and fixture ranges, and 3 years on our own labour.
  • Parts on the shelfWe hold stock of the parts that actually fail, so most warranty calls are a visit rather than an order.
