Heritage main streets in Unionville and Markham Village, laneway-garage streets in Cornell, and large stone-front homes in Angus Glen and Cachet. Markham is several different cities' worth of housing, and the install changes with each.

Markham has several heritage conservation districts, one of the best-known new-urbanist neighbourhoods in the country, and a large stock of 1990s and 2000s executive homes. We plan each differently.
Unionville, Markham Village, Buttonville and Thornhill-Markham are heritage conservation districts, where exterior changes can need a heritage permit. Permanent lighting is reversible and low-profile, which makes it a straightforward case, but we confirm your address and the approval path before quoting. Cornell and parts of Berczy Village and Cathedraltown put garages on rear laneways, so the front elevation is all porch, gables and dormers — some of the most rewarding rooflines to light, with the controller set in the rear garage.
Angus Glen, Cachet, Wismer, Greensborough and Box Grove are larger two-storeys with stone or brick fronts and many roof segments. Following the gable rakes on those is what separates architectural from outlined, and we quote both versions so you can choose. Stone fronts also take grazing fixtures very well.
Roofline across every kind of Markham house, smart control for homes that already have landscape lighting, and patio and facade lighting for restaurants on Main Street Unionville, Main Street Markham and the plazas.

Colour-matched track under the roofline holding addressable RGBW LEDs. Warm white every night, full colour when you want it, and no ladder in November.

Usually, yes. Exterior changes in a heritage conservation district can need a permit, and reversible, non-destructive lighting fastened into trim or mortar is one of the easier cases to make. We check your address and the approval path before we quote, so you know where you stand from the start.
Usually in the rear garage, with the cable routed to the front roofline through the soffit or attic. The front is where the porches, gables and dormers are, so that is where the lighting does the most. We plan the cable route at the site visit.
Yes. The run ends cleanly at your property line, your controller sits in your own garage, and it stays addressable so a neighbour can join later without re-cutting yours. If a condo corporation governs exterior changes, check with them first — we can supply spec sheets for the board.
Yes. Patio, canopy and facade lighting runs on the same hardware and app, scheduled around service hours, with warm white for dinner and colour when you want it.
We will measure, hold track colours against your own fascia and leave you an itemised number. No deposit, no obligation.
