What we collect when you ask for a quote, what we do with it, and how to have us stop contacting you. Last updated September 27, 2026.
Bright Neighbour (Bright Neighbour Permanent Lighting) installs permanent outdoor lighting in Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, Durham Region and the GTA. Our shop is at 750 McFarlane Road, Oxford Mills, ON. Questions about this policy go to info@brightneighbour.com or 613-499-4888.
When you send a quote form we receive the details you type in: your name, phone number, email, the area you are in, the service you are interested in, whether you want a site visit, and anything you write about your property. We also record which page the form was sent from and when.
When you call, text or email us we keep a record of that conversation, including any photos you send.
Like most websites, we measure which pages are visited and which buttons are used so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
By sending a quote form you agree that Bright Neighbour may call, text or email you about your quote. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell us by phone or email, and we will stop.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business: a customer-management system that receives form submissions and sends our texts and emails, our website host, and our analytics tool. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law.
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to follow up on your quote, and customer records for as long as your warranty runs and our tax and legal obligations require. After that we delete them.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@brightneighbour.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
