Frenchman's Bay at one end, Seaton being built at the other, and a heritage hamlet in between. Pickering covers lakefront, established suburb, brand-new subdivision and rural acreage, and each of them is a different install.

South Pickering is established, north Pickering is under construction, and the hamlets are older than both. The fastening method, the power plan and the design conversation change with each.
Bay Ridges, West Shore and the streets around Frenchman's Bay are mostly 1960s to 80s — bungalows, side-splits and modest two-storeys, many with aluminium-clad fascia over wood. Short runs and low rooflines keep those jobs lean, but the bay and the lake make the wind part of the design: tighter fastener spacing and expansion gaps on anything exposed. Amberlea, Dunbarton, Liverpool, Highbush and Rougemount are the 1980s and 90s middle, with more gables and more height.
Duffin Heights and Seaton are brand new, with the fascia and trim still in builder condition and a Tarion window still open on many of them. We fasten to the sub-fascia, never through the roof, and put the detail in writing if you want it. Whitevale is a heritage conservation district and Claremont and Brougham are older hamlets, so there we confirm the approval path before quoting and fasten into mortar or trim rather than original material.
Roofline across the established south and the new north, custom zones on the decks, docks and pergolas that come with lakefront and acreage lots, and smart control for houses that already have lighting worth pulling onto one app.

Colour-matched track under the roofline holding addressable RGBW LEDs. Warm white every night, full colour when you want it, and no ladder in November.

Pergolas, cabanas, docks, sport courts, fences, feature walls. If it can be lit and it survives an Ontario winter, we have probably built it.

No — it is a good time, before landscaping goes in and while the fascia is clean. We fasten into the wood sub-fascia rather than the cladding, never through shingles or the roof deck, and seal every penetration, so nothing your builder warrants is touched. We can put the mounting detail in writing for your Tarion file.
Usually, yes. Whitevale is a heritage conservation district, and reversible, non-destructive lighting fastened into trim or mortar is a much easier case than most exterior work. We confirm your address and the approval path before we quote, so you know where you stand from the start.
Yes, with the right detailing. Open water exposure gets closer fastener spacing, an expansion gap at every joint, and threaded sealed connectors facing downward. The lamps themselves are IP68 and rated to −40 °C.
Often. Marine-grade deck and post lighting can join the same controller where we can get a clean low-voltage cable run to it. If the distance or the route does not allow that, we will say so at the site visit and price a separate controller rather than guess.
We will measure, hold track colours against your own fascia and leave you an itemised number. No deposit, no obligation.
